What energies and experiences can we expect in February 2009?
The energy of February is glowing. There are several images that will apply here. One is the image of a single flame - the clarity and singularity of a candle flame helps embody a sense of this month. You also might envision a glowing heart, such as in the movie ET in which ET's heart glows when he can sense home. February is very similar to ET's heart. Quite literally, it is the feeling of home that many of you are tuning into.
In your spiritual journeys, whether you define them spiritually or not, all of you are coming home to yourselves. All of you, through the process of your growth and the process of Enlightenment that is happening across the planet, all of you are coming home to your true divinity -- to an understanding of yourselves as truly divine, wonderful, powerful beings. Each of you has your own process by which you do this, but the energy of February is a moment in which the feeling of home, as far away as it may have felt before, comes a little bit closer. It is similar to seeing the light at the end of the tunnel but it has a much richer feeling of home.
Returning to the airplane metaphor that the Keepers are using in regard to the year 2009, it is like the plane has taken off and it dawns on you that it is just a matter of time now before you get home. All you need to do is work with what is right in front of you and let the time pass. In the metaphor, stay on the plane until you get there.
There is a sense of relief you may feel in February. This is an excellent month in which to fill your cups of love as deeply as you can. Love yourselves, love one another, look for tenderness and actively engage a sense of warmth in everything you say and do. Treat everyone with affection as much as you can during this month. As with any journey, it can be arduous, it has been arduous and many people are facing challenges ahead. The best way to use the energy of February is to engage love, tenderness, understanding, and affection with everyone you meet.
February has the potential to bring you questions and answers to those questions. During the month of February, be willing to engage your curiosity and be willing to encounter the big questions people tend to slip to the back corner of their minds. Questions like, "Who am I? Who are we as a human race? Is there a God? If so, who is it?" These bigger questions of life will be very close to the surface during February. Be willing to ask yourself these questions. Be willing to engage these questions with one another. February is a really useful time to engage conversations about religion and spirituality as long as you can avoid evangelizing and avoid convincing one another. Instead, explore together.
Be willing to see, acknowledge and celebrate the perspectives of others and be sure to create space where your perspective is shared as well. But if you find yourself trying to convince one another or feeling defensive and protective of your own ideals, back away. You do not need to push these conversations. If you can find a space for open exploration in some of your relationships, it will be very fulfilling in the month of February 2009 to have conversations with your friends and loved ones about the nature of the universe, your deepest longings and the things you wonder about. Consider talking with people about life's mysteries and keep an open mind and an open tone in your conversation; continue acknowledging that anything is possible. There is much to be learned from one another. You have closed yourselves off from one another too long in regard to the questions of religion and spirituality. February gives you this tone of love and affection and it opens a space for curiosity. Share it!
How can we best use the energy of the month?
There is a wisdom here that is important to acknowledge around the importance of keeping your home safe and comfortable. By home we mean both your physical dwelling as well as your close relationships, family relationships, whether they be biological or not. All of those things that are close to you that help create your sense of self and home and center. It is important to maintain these, to keep them up, to give attention to your most important relationships, to keep your home front up-to-date, so to speak. Second to that in February there is a need to reach out beyond the home front. There is a need to take care of yourself first but then immediately upon taking care of yourself, take care of others; reach out to one another. A mantra for this month might be love for your fellow humans.
It looks as if religion is going to come to the forefront for many of you this month. The question of religion, you may see it asked in public circles and in political debates, also in your social circles and in your own hearts. Be willing to love one another first and discuss ideals second. You are going to see followers of various religions coming home to their true beliefs. The true belief in every religion, in every spiritual tradition is to, first and foremost, love one another. As much as you can, be a source for that wisdom this month.
Are there any special days that we need to pay attention to in February of 2009?
Yes, February 9 is an important day. It is a portal of some kind; like a Stargate. February 9 has this incredibly powerful, potent magical energy. It is a useful day to do rituals or just take some time for yourself to reflect and it is a day when many of you will find yourselves somewhat clairvoyant. Now this is funny because many of you are finding yourselves somewhat clairvoyant all of the time every day. Look particularly on February 9 for that tangible connection with Spirit and for that tangible feeling that the other world is just beyond your reach, just around the corner. The other side of the veil is so close to you and February 9 has a particular potency and proximity to Spirit.
February 18 through 22 is a time in which it is important to get work done. It is important to finish things, accomplish things, and check off the things on your list. While there is a lot of energy moving through this month and it could be easy to become distracted and be a little bit of a daydreamer, consider in advance how you can set your days up between the 18th and the 22nd to maintain that openness to Spirit but continue to be productive, to get things done. That is a good way for you to engage those things.
Is there anything else the Keepers want us to know about February 2009?
There is a sense in February 2009 if we take the metaphor of the airplane, you have not yet reached your cruising altitude and so you are going to find that there is a need for effort during this month. Just as it was in January, it will be important for you to stay awake, to keep looking for ways you can stretch, reach and grow. To find ways to respond to challenges as they arise. Do not push yourselves too much. Let that energy of love and warmth reign over everything else. Underneath that, be sure that you are striving for more clarity that you are looking for more inner strength in response to every situation that comes your way. You are still climbing this month and effort will need to be involved. Just be sure to do it with a sense of warmth and love for yourselves. Continually engage forgiveness and understanding from one another both for your public figures and for your social relationships.
