Yesterday I spoke of how my message from the light at its best, was never very clear .It became so differentiated it was barely recognisable even to me. A teacher must always seek to provide absolute clarity, but this can be almost impossible to achieve when instructing every soul to take full responsibility for all of their words and actions, whilst allowing each his own necessary freedom to find his/her own path to the divine by way of self acceptance.
Each person's path is uniquely his to tread. It was hard for me to construct a theosophy that could serve as instruction to so many.
You asked me, 'where did it all go wrong?'
This was where; trying to teach the values of individual choice, freedom and responsibility to such large and ethnically diverse audience. No wonder that people saw me as the solution rather than just the way shower.
The race from which I was descended had many fixed ideals and it was necessary for me to work within that original framework. The Hebrew faith was never a simple one; it has many twists and turns, and I have to say, so many constraints. It was and is quite a dogmatic faith allowing very little space for individual expression and interpretation. It was a poor foundation for me to use as basis for a more individualised path to enlightenment.
My message was, quite simply this;
Each individual has full leave to act as he chooses, yet there is only one way to be really happy. That is the way of following his own inner reason, wisdom and love that is the conscience; that innate wisdom that so clearly separates right from wrong.
It was strong then and is just as strong now, despite all the problems in the world. When in a collective, the individual conscience can become distorted by the intentions of others, so it becomes less clear, looses potency.
All that is uniquely divine is written in the very blueprint of each individual's soul. Over time, he or she becomes sufficiently illuminated to be able to read that blue print.
I sought to illuminate that of others by encouraging them to integrate the rights and wrongs that they already knew and recognised, and through prayer, seek to activate that blue print of their divine nature by looking inside themselves whilst their minds were quiet.
I meant to use the all forgiving love of The Lord as an example of how we are all truly programmed to behave. We are all programmed thus but we wished to re program ourselves to some extent, to go our own way.
Yet that original blueprint can never be erased; the urge to do good.
I was hoping that by mirroring what is good would serve to reflect the light from the souls of my followers.
