(Excerpt from the public trance demonstration at Seaford, in Liverpool on 20th November 2010)
Maria Cass: Hello Joseph, I am interested in your views of children coming into the world at this time.
Joseph: Life seeks to express itself through life. Each soul that comes here comes for a purpose and your child comes for a purpose and the purpose that we instil in the children that are being born at this time is to further the spiritual message and turn humanity away from its materialism and away from its lower instincts of violence and power-seeking. What specifically do you want me to answer with regard to children?
Maria: Well, I don’t know if this is connected - but I have become interested in this new spiritual way of life and now I find that I am bringing a baby into the world and I have a thought that this baby has a special purpose.
Joseph: By becoming aware, by opening your spiritual heart-mind to the promptings of greater spiritual evolution, you pass on to the child that is coming to you those values and that vibration so that your child is born already open to spiritual awareness. It is an excellent example of what should be done at the moment because all mothers pass on their predominant beliefs and thoughts to their child. The vibration flows between mother and child - not just physically - but also psychically and spiritually. It is meant to be that way and the child is placed by the Lords of Karma with a certain mother and a certain father so that their vibrational contribution to that child should help it on life’s path to find and discover its own spiritual evolution. So it is vitally important that spiritually aware mothers retain that openness to the light of God and to the harmony of the spirit worlds. In doing so during their time of pregnancy, they pass on that vibration to the child, they surround it with a protective light and the child, until the point that it is born, is active. It is active within you but is also active in that it talks to its advisors, it talks to angels, it talks to God and it talks to itself.
Were more mothers spiritually aware until the time of birth, their children would go on to do great things spiritually because they would have been cushioned from the Field for the full course of that pregnancy. Unfortunately with many mothers the thought is of what the baby should wear, where the baby is going to school, should the baby be in a better house now, should the baby be able to drive a better car when it grows up. All these worries, pre-occupations and material considerations are then passed on to the child and the encroachment of the Field takes place earlier on in that child’s development – in the womb in fact. When if the mother were to spend a portion of each day linking into the God-light within, praying for direction for herself and the child, then the Field is kept at bay and the child has a greater chance of passing on spiritual information and spiritual help when it is actually born into a physical world because the effects of the Field have been kept out for as long as possible and that child has been able to take advice from the spiritual worlds and from the God-within right until the last moment. It strengthens the link; it helps the child once it is born to communicate with higher spheres of being.
So, yes, your child is placed with you for a reason - each child is placed for a reason and each child is given the opportunity to grow. The generation that is coming now is also given the opportunity to teach and it is important to talk to your child, it is important to establish that spiritual communication and to say: ‘I surround you with love and with light. I surround you with God’s freedom, I acknowledge God’s purpose in you’ to strengthen that link between yourself and the child and to strengthen that child’s ability to go forwards that much more quickly in physical life and to make a difference.
We have closed down for generations the intuition that children have and at a certain point you tell them that they can’t see the person in the room; you tell them they shouldn’t be listening to voices; you tell them that is nonsense and is imagination …and that is exactly what the Field wants you to do. The spiritual facilities become masked and there is - around the child as the child grows - the hardness and the impermeability of the Field so that, many times, their original mission is clouded at best and knocked out of them at worst. It takes so many years for them, if they are spiritually minded, to chip away at that outer layer before they can receive communication whereas if they were encouraged to believe that to see someone from another realm is normal, to hear voices from another realm is normal then that child is able to go about its mission at a much earlier age. So many wasted years and so many wasted opportunities! We have to dream a different dream for our children too. Does that make sense?
Maria: It does, it makes a lot of sense.
