Long distance love is not necessarily a topic you would initially think of in relation to spirituality, however in my recent lessons I realised this is not true. When looking more closely at the subject, there is indeed a great significance for all of us to understand the many types of long distance love.
My inspiration for this article, I must confess, originally came from the direct feelings I am being confronted with, whilst having to live on opposite continents from my husband. This started me thinking about how surreal it can feel for all individuals who have gone through, are going through, or will go through long distance relationships of all types. In today’s modern age, especially in the western world, many of us take for granted the general ease of being able to see our loved ones regularly. Even if we don’t live so close to our family, we can generally get in a car or use a bus to visit them.
So what happens when you find yourself in a situation where you are separated from your family or spouse? When would a situation occur for this to happen, and how many of us really know what it feels like to live aside from someone you love.
Straight away I feel the biggest and most difficult part of separation is that of the passing of a loved one. We are often so final about death. We have been encouraged in the west to see this as an end, because we can no longer see the person with our eyes or touch them with our hands. Yet what if I told you, this was a form of long distance love? What if I suggested that now, with this change you were being asked to love this person far beyond the confines of the third dimensional reality, would that change how you experienced your grief?
Although my husband is living in America and I am living in the UK, there is a feeling around our situation that can mirror that of bereavement. This is indicative of all long distance loving. Why? Because we cannot see or touch each other. Of course there is the magic of technology, such as Skype, but sometimes these technologies can create more pain than they seek to ease. They are not real; they are illusionary, just as that of our reality here. In some ways, the days gone by, where letters were sent by carriage held more love and more feelings of reality than today’s offerings of communication such as mobile phones and computers. Why then do these memories of “how it was” and films about restricted and forbidden love seem to capture us so greatly. Perhaps this was because these times allowed for imagination and promoted strength, to fight for your love and to hold on to it as tightly as you could. The modern age has some downsides, and a lack of imagination is one of them.
Another situation where I can feel the presence of long distance love is in the occurrence where families are forced out of war torn countries and separated. This still happens now, with our world’s continual battles and conflicts. We have seen these situations over and over. We have seen the effects of the Great World Wars and the holocaust, the evacuations we have been told about, and some of us lived through. Is not long distance love also a change in circumstance?
What about changes through ill health or accident or disability. What comes to me is how difficult it may feel for someone to lose their sight and therefore the image of their loved one they were so used to seeing. The list of loving from a distance and longing for what was can go on and on and we spend so little time realising what courageous people there are in the world who have to face any of these realities.
So where does the relevance of the hologram come into long distance love?
As our world continues to shift with a consciousness revolution taking place, our view of reality keeps changing and science is moving fast in terms of the many theories to explain reality. But the one I like the best right now, is the holographic universe theory. This changes my whole view of love and connection.
If we understand that everything we see and feel and know is a hologram then the amazing thing about this is that a hologram cannot be lost for every piece of that hologram holds an image of the whole. So if an apple of a hologram was made and a piece of the hologram was taken off, a segment of the apple for example, both the part and the original piece with a part missing, both still held the information of the whole complete apple. Where I am getting to with this, is that our long distance love is possible because nothing is ever lost.
If you have lost a loved one and there are no longer on this realm to be seen with the physical eye that does not been they are gone or removed from the whole experience. This is the same as all our memories of people and places, of your loved one who is halfway across the globe or your family living down the road. In fact all instances are far more similar than you would believe. In order to explain this I will need to offer some further information to the hologram theory.
The hologram is not literal; it is not actually outside of you but is being created inside your head, your mind. Your five senses pick up stimuli from something and then you turn it into a picture inside your head which creates your whole reality. So in essence you create and interpret your reality from inside. My reason for sharing this is because this would mean that whenever you are not with a loved one, for example, he or she is at work, they exist but only as memories. In fact everything that comes into your reality each moment does so because of your vibrational connection to it. As you change your vibrational frequency changes happen and this is why some relationships don’t work out because you have changed your frequency whilst being together and you both need to continue creating a reality which is on the correct frequency for you.
So before I lose you, as I am aware this article has changed in frequency quite dramatically, you will always be able to connect with all those who are on the same frequency, wherever you are, beyond any dimensions and this will become easier and easier as we continue to move to multidimensional spaces. This is because we are attracted to our loved ones, family, and friends based on our vibratory rate although they don’t teach us this in school! When someone has moved from the third dimensional earth plane they still exist, just not in form and they can still be picked up via their energy frequency, this is how mediums work because they can easily attune to frequencies beyond the physical sphere of form.
Now this makes long distance love different, because distance is illusion just is thinking about what your partner is doing when he or she is at work. In essence reality is more like the movement of many beautiful pulses and sparks of light which come together and separate based on waves of frequency and energy. When you understand this you know there is no separation, at all, ever. Not in long distance relationships, not in estranged family members or friends and not in death. At anytime you remember someone, your memory is creating that person from the whole house of holographic / akashic records information. There is never any fear when we are apart because if we trust that we play a beautiful dance of moving in and out of connection with each other, it is all because we are seeing and playing with those that match our energy. We are going to become masters of energy and we will be able to connect with far more than the physical realm, as a society we are about to open up to the cosmic connections we have been missing.
So how does this alter long distance love, what does it teach us?
When separation does come, or appears to come considering what we have now discussed, it is to be welcomed for there are amazing lessons that come with being given opportunity to find who you are outside of a strong spiritual and physical union, everything happens in perfect timing, even when it is hard.
Many twin flames on the planet, including those of us who are working actively with our other soul extensions will realise the work we are doing by moving backward and forward healing and aligning all that we need to do.
Your long distance love is more perfect than you realise, the hardships you have endured, the patience and pain that it may have brought about is of your choice to learn greatly and trust that you can do this when you understand the higher divine plan.
