The Open Arms Spiritual Haven in Grays welcomed a very special guest last week, in the form of top international medium, and star of Sky Real Live's "Angels" programme, Nicky Alan.
Nicky is well known within the spiritualist movement, and has recently signed to work with famous TV and stage medium Colin Fry on a national tour, so for her to offer to work at the Haven was a real boost for the centre, and also for their chosen charity for the evening, South Essex Rape and Incest Crisis Centre. As an ex-police officer, Nicky has a particular interest in the work of the charity, and was happy to join Haven organiser, Jay Gage, in presenting a cheque for 400.00 towards their work.

sitors, she had her work cut out as message after message came flooding through and was delivered in Nicky's own inimitable style.
Demand for tickets to see Nicky was so high, that organisers were still turning people away just hours before the event was due to start, and as a result, Nicky has kindly offered to do another show for the Haven on the 10th of October as a special benefit for SERICC. To meet demand, the Haven has hired Thurrock Rugby Club's 200 seater hall, and tickets are on sale now at £15 each.
