The Christmas craziness is here again. The time of year for families, for people to get together with their loved ones. Which is great for families who get on and love one another. There are plenty of people who dread this time of year though. Families who are torn apart by arguments and hatred, lifelong hurts that have left scars too deep to ignore.
Christmas, a traditional time for family get-togethers is harsher still for people who have no roof over their head.
Watching everyone else be happy together and alone in their misery they have no solace, no warmth or comfort except perhaps for a can of alcohol or some mind-numbing drugs to take away their pain.
So, I am sparing a thought for people who will be spending Christmas, not just alone, but probably sitting on cold concrete somewhere, wondering where it all went wrong.
