ReConnection to Pitchika.
Recently, every night, at the urging of Cosmic Awareness with whom I had a powerful personal session a month ago, I have been communicating with my ‘imaginary’ childhood guide Pitchika. Back in August, Awareness had informed me that Pitchika was the tribal god of an Indonesian tribe of which apparently I had been the shaman in a former existence long ago in the lost continent of Lemuria. I call upon him by name. I immediately sense a subtle energy shift in my body and when I ask him questions he seems to warmly respond starting with the words “my son”. At this point my voice changes slightly and startling concatenations of thought, crystal clear, logically formed and beautifully articulated , spontaneously enunciate themselves through me, only occasionally hesitating for a few seconds in search of the most ‘correct’ word as it were.
I am invariably moved by the words; partly involving ideas I may know already but always with a significant enlargement of perspective and from a new angle. The responses to my questions seem both from me and yet beyond me, which makes me recall Pitchika’s words to me after the Cosmic Awareness session “I am You and You are me”. It seems to me Pitchika is a name for the intelligent heart mind energy of my Higher Self, and the evidence for this is that whenever he speaks to me I feel elevated, uplifted, calmed; not overawed, but deeply awed, as if in touch with an aspect of my own divinity I had sensed was there somewhere inside me, deeply buried and mostly forgotten, yet subtly overshadowing my entire life as a human. I feel more whole and reconnected with a far greater sense of self as if tapping into a more expansive dimension of universal mind.
I feel I can ask him anything and will receive some answer that is precise and intelligible to me with all my human limitations and constraints of distortional language constructs. I feel sure Pitchika has overshadowed me many times throughout my life when I clearly felt I was walking as in a cloud of numinous higher thoughts as when I walked over the Sussex downs in my youth transported by philosophical flights of imagination. When I asked him if he had helped me write my poetry he said “yes, some of it” and some was my earthly persona processing and working on its experience. Pitchika likes to use the phrase “rest assured” (one I never use normally!); he strives I feel to always strengthen faith and give solace, sensing I think how well trained we modern humans are in fear, doubt, skepticism etc. He has a sense of humour too and uses colloquialisms like “clever clogs”, for example for those ardent materialists who trash and discredit all religion and then proceed to occupy the power base vacated by the priests and lord It over others telling them what’s what, as the new technocratic priesthood in science, economy, politics and academe.
The other night we had a powerful session together in my room about 2012. I was sharing my confusions and doubts on the subject and what came through with the most urgent and remarkable clarity was quite astonishing. He sees, even from his side in Spirit there are certain ‘veils’ and no one, at whatever level, can see or know exactly what is going to happen. The metaphor he used and that remains with me is that of a temple and pilgrims approaching it and that we are only in the outer court preparing ourselves (or should be!) – supplicating in reverence, bearing gifts, prostrating, namaste-ing, wei-ing etc. but we have not yet reached the holy of holies inside. Pitchika likened 2012 to an initiation event or pilgrimage as from the old earth to the new because creation has become old and worn through abuse and neglect. He invoked the great German philosopher Martin Heidegger’s concept of care for being – how “being is an awful care” ( a line from ‘Tiger’ – one of my poems) and how for millennia humanities have not cared very much. We have taken the gifts of life like plunder and booty, and instead of becoming givers ourselves, we have often just consumed and consumed, demanding more and more. We are beings who have not reciprocated our source, thereby dangerously depleting the planet that supports us and our own spiritual treasures.
Pitchika also alluded to my present illness – if I care for myself, my body with reverence and respect and am aware and follow modes of healing, the disease shall be short lived. If I do not, it will be much worse. So it is with 2012 – what happens to each entity depends upon their consciousness qualities, the degree of their care for being. This consciousness is key, of the inner link to divinity, it is the true Philosopher’s Stone, the Holy Grail. We can then begin to move from a kind of shrunken entrapment in our physical bodies to being more in touch with our light body, our true soul being; and then the potentials are infinite and life is never ending.
Pitchika then made the point, rather satirically, when talking about the modern trend towards a totally secular society – “what is this ‘secular’? he intoned, saying there really is no such thing as secular anything as everything participates in the sacred, because life itself is a sacred process and energy. He went on to expound on the nature of what we might call ‘evil’ as being an absence rather than a presence, being founded on lack. He gave the example of greed as wanting more and more from without as compensation for not loving ourselves, not cherishing and cultivating our seed of divinity within. Another example given, was pride in our egos, that seek from external things, credentials, medals, stamps of approval to fill the empty hole inside that stems from not tending and denying the seeds of divine fullness inside. When you tend the God seed within you you are fine with being a nobody! There is not the obsession with becoming more and more and getting more and more but there is a resting and abiding in the only real identity there is – the soul substance. The real nothingness and nobodyness is the ego’s fraught world of identifications and attachments. For the credentials our egos cling to for confirmation of their flimsy and shadowy existence are transient and uncertain and the approval of others so easily turns into opprobrium. One is reminded of a man like Gordon Brown, when his power as Prime Minister which he strove to attain his whole life, is stripped from him, how much smaller he must feel.
