Reiki In Cyberspace.
It is with a heavy heart that I write this article. I write as a Reiki Master. Some years ago a certain so-called medium, who shall, for the time being remain anon... attacked the two Reiki Masters he happened to have in his audience, I was one of them… by saying that the lineage with Reiki couldn’t be proved because of the fact that one can be attuned to Reiki over the internet.
Wrong! No one can be attuned on line… it is impossible! There has to be a face to face contact for the attunement to be put in place. Who-so-ever says that you can is just out to take your money. These modern con-merchants and charlatans used to hang out on the edge of markets and fairs selling you enlightenment, potions and pills, and the like. They have just moved up a level or two, but they’re still the same conmen and women.
There is only one school of Reiki and that is the one started by Dr Mikao Usui, there is no other, everything else is just a way to scam you of your money. I have seen sites where you can be attuned on line… no certificate… no support… no Reiki attunement!
There are certain schools of so-called Reiki that have introduced further levels, stating that they channeled this knowledge through... sorry, don't buy that one either.
You see the Emperor truly is naked, those aren’t clothes he’s wearing, rather more, a tissue of lies, designed purely to relieve you of your money. Sad, isn’t it that people could be as unscrupulous as to con you into thinking that attunement can be obtained without leaving the comfort of your own home.
I have to ask the question… What on earth induces someone to belief that they can obtain something for next to nothing?
Fear, False Evidence Appearing Real plays a part… isolation, the need to feel part of a world wide network of others… vulnerability… ignorance… innocence… greed… the need to have something that seemed out of reach before the web…
The other point I wish to raise here is the amount of hybrids that are available, again on line… Kundalini; shamanic, to name just a couple… these are all practices in their own right as is Reiki… I practice a few threads in the healing world… but why would I want to put two together into one form when there is no need? Other than creating more money for myself?
I don’t imagine for one moment that my popularity is going to be increased by this blog… but I AM the boy who shouted out that “the emperor has no clothes on…”
I am willingly to offer anyone who is a member of Psychic Knight or The Spirit Guide Network, and who has been duped in this way, attunements in their own home, if unable to get out and about. Of course, this is limited to this country and I currently have no car, so this is a future thing. I will even work out a rate for P/K members, taking into account any travelling… it’s an offer and I hate to see anyone being taken for a ride in the spiritual world; for it truly is one of the cruellest things...
