TAROT..A POWERFUL TOOL
While it is true, that spending an evening with friends , round the table, a bottle of wine and a pack of tarot cards, can be an extremely fun evening, the tarot can be a very powerful tool. As a professional tarot reader myself ,with fifteen years experience, I am astounded on a daily basis, at the information the cards provide , during readings with unknown and sometimes unseen clients. Whether reading face to face, or via the telephone, the tarot cards can provide me with what is sometimes ,very private information. Whether that be good or bad news, I always pass on the information as it presents itself.
Tarot readings can provide information on any subject, although some readers prefer to specialise, in specific areas, such as romance, or finances for example
.However, I personally find that the cards will inform the client of issues which are most pertinent to themselves, regardless of the specific question asked. Giving information , based on what the client needs to know ,rather than wants to know. The information ;presented, may even conflict with the morals or beliefs of the reader. It is of great importance that any information is passed on without judgement., or prejudice, after all, it is the cards which deliver the message, the reader is there merely to pass on that information.
When reading tarot cards , for friends or clients, the reader must be mindful that the reading covers the , events in an individuals life . Some clients will want a reading for fun, never expecting serious information to come through , while others, come to the tarot for guidance and support through difficult times. During a reading, the cards should inform the client of present and past circumstances, and predict future events., showing possible outcomes and actions to be taken to achieve the best possible outcome for the client.
The tarot can be brutally honest with the information they present. The cards possess no empathy,. or feelings of their own , merely conveying the facts, and the best course of action the client should take. It is the reader who is the human, compassionate element of the reading. A councillor and confident. Breaking bad news as gently as possible, and with the guidance of the cards, supporting the client to make any necessary changes. The tarot can guide a client to a bright future during a time of personal uncertainty, or indeed be a guiding light, there to help, during times of trouble. Using the tarot can enable the reader to gain insight into the life of an individual, who is a complete stranger to them., and indeed is a remarkable and powerful tool.
