Today let’s talk about fear. Fear is a distressing negative emotion induced by a perceived threat. Let’s look at the definition of fear for a while and mull it over in our minds – “a negative emotion induced by a PERCEIVED threat”. Fear is a basic survival mechanism occurring to a specific stimulus such as pain or the threat of danger. Fear is the ability to recognize danger and to flee from it or confront it - a primal instinct.
So what happens if we choose to flee from it, do these perceived threats go away? No! Quite the contrary these perceived threats start to take residence, taking hold of our emotions and allow attachment for other feeling such as anxiety, worry, panic, doubt, dismay and dread. Can you see how destructive this can be if we choose to flee from it.
Now let’s look at what will happen if we confront our fears. Is this the better option? Maybe who knows! It is worth noting that fear almost always relates to a future event such as a worsening of a situation or a continuation of a situation that is unacceptable, it can also be an instant reaction to something presently happening.
When you breakdown the meaning of the word “fear”, as it is written, the explanation doesn’t seem so daunting to face. Looking at the paragraph above, you wonder how this emotion could have such a control over your existence. As a cautionary note, you may still experience the same attachment of emotions when you choose to confront it as you would if you choose to flee it. However when you live in the moment you can see how you can eliminate two of these examples of fear.
Internal fear is something inside of you that links to a negative emotion, for example: fear developed out of low self esteem or distrust. Experiences of fear can remain long after the exposure in the unconsciousness mind and can manifest whenever you least expect it i.e. in your dreams, social influence or even by words association, the

list can be endless. Distrust may serve as an adaptive or an early warning signal to a situations but it could lead to a greater fear. The precursor to distrust is the word dis, you no longer trust. Fear has no boundaries, if you wish, it will consume you - you have the choice.
Fear can produce psychological symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest tightness, dizziness, shakiness and loss of sleep these reoccurring attacks may result in certain people giving up, restrict themselves from straying too far from home or not being able to go to a place without a “safe” person in tow, going out with friends; basically giving up their freedom, see how this can affect their personal relationships.
Fear can really cause barriers. Processing your negative emotion, exposing your fears for what they really are will breakdown these barriers. Having reassurance in your ability is the key to dissolving your fear, if you repeatedly reassure yourself that you have the ability to banish fear, what can stop you? Gain trust in your ability for it will change your stance on fear and you will learn from the experience.
You’ve always got the support of your guides, loved ones, the ascended masters and the angelic realm; in fact you’ve got a whole galaxy of beings waiting to assist you, if you ask. But the main tool you have to conqueror fear is yourself. You are a warrior, take power; you can achieve anything if you really want to. You only have to BELIEVE that you can overcome any obstacle then nothing and I mean nothing can stand in your way. Like Moses you can separate the waves. Wave your sword and slice through that fear, bring fear to its knees. By all means ask for the assistance of the higher realms we are there. But what some of you fail to grasp is that we are apart of you, therefore do not our qualities reside within you already?
